$50,191 - $68,109 per annum This new position has arisen from an industry funded research collaboration between CERA, Institute for Eye Research and School of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of New South Wales. The two year project involves a case control study of contact lens related disease presenting to the eye casualty department at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. A relevant tertiary qualification in clinical or medical science, epidemiology or biological science coupled with an enthusiasm for research initiatives and delivering quality outcomes is essential. CERA is the technical partner to the Lions Club of Australia for the Lions Eye Health Program (LEHP). The primary focus of this position will be the implementation of a community-based awareness campaign which aims to eliminate avoidable vision loss due to common causes within the community. The role will work closely with the LEHP Management Committee, made up of Lions Club members from around Australia Along with outstanding organisational skills, you will have the ability to work efficiently and accurately both autonomously and as part of a team. A relevant tertiary qualification in Public Health or Health Promotion coupled with an enthusiasm for training and presentation is essential.
