Apply for a Graduate Research Degree in Ophthalmology

Potential students are required to prepare an Expression of Interest form before applying.

The Expression of Interest form is not intended to be a final or worked up version of the research you may eventually do. Submitting the Expression of Interest form does not guarantee a place in our degrees. It is required to help establish whether you are eligible to apply for a research degree with the Department of Ophthalmology.

Please follow these steps in order to submit your Expression of Interest in undertaking a degree with a research component.

  • For information on suggesting a supervisor, search the Department’s research interests.
  • Additionally, you can work through the names of academic staff to read their areas of expertise.

Download the Expression of Interest form.

Once you have submitted the Expression of Interest and discussed this with the Graduate Research Coordinator, please refer to the information provided for each of our graduate research degrees, and see below for general information on applying for graduate degrees.

Information for prospective Australian graduate students
Information for prospective International graduate students. International students are also directed to International Student Services.
