VIDEO: CERA offers free tool to measure anterior chamber depth

CERA’s Associate Professor Ehud Zamir, an ophthalmologist and researcher, has developed a simple tool to assess the depth of the eye’s anterior chamber, which is an important indicator in the diagnosis of angle closure glaucoma.

All that is required is a smart phone and the ability to assess and a few simple steps.

“This technique is simple and practical and most suited for general practitioners, emergency physicians and ophthalmic assistants or nurses,” he said.

CERA has developed a short video with Ehud explaining the technique. To view click on the above.
