Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) online community forum

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a leading cause of severe central vision loss among Australians aged over 50.

As many as one in seven Australians over the age of 50 will have signs of AMD.

Join Research Fellows Dr Zhichao Wu and Dr Carla Abbott, Senior Research Coordinator Lauren Hodgson and Ophthalmologist Dr Amy Cohn from our Macular Research team at our online community forum at 10.30am (AEST) on Thursday 17 September to learn more about AMD and what options are available for those with the eye condition.

Our online event will look at:

  • What is age-related macular degeneration (AMD)?
  • Latest AMD research updates at CERA
  • How to make sure you’re keeping on top of your eye health care during COVID-19

Registrations are essential.
