2015 Glaucoma community information forumSeptember 03, 2015
Associate Professor Ian Trounce, Principal Investigator Mitochondria and Neuroregeneration Research at the Centre for Eye Research Australia, chaired a Glaucoma Information Forum on Thursday 3 September 2015.
A capacity crowd attended to hear about the latest developments in glaucoma research and treatment from leading ophthalmologists from the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide and 1 in 10 Australians over 80 will develop glaucoma.
Speakers included: Dr Catherine Green, Dr Jennifer Fan Gaskin and Dr Nathan Kerr.
