Stem cells – community information forumMarch 19, 2014
On Wednesday 19 March CERA hosted a free community information forum on stem cells.
Being able to restore sight once it has been lost is an age-old dream of human kind. However, it seemed impossible until the discovery of stem cells. But what are stem cells and why are they so important? What are the facts? What does stem cell science mean for eye disease? In this free information session, aimed at a general audience, you will learn about stem cells and understand the science behind them.
