Kim\n\n                                \n                                \n                                    Trained as a vitreo-retinal specialist both in India and the USA\, Dr. Kim is the Chief Medical Officer of Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai (India) as well as the Director\, IT and Systems\, of Aravind Eye Care System. \nHe has a keen interest in surgical retina and a special interest in telemedicine and using AI for the screening of diabetic retinopathy (DR). \nWorking with Google he has deployed an AI-based screening tool for real time DR screening in India. \nHe is currently the Vice-President of the Vitreo-Retinal Society of India and the Tele-Medicine Society of India\, as well as Secretary of the Asia Pacific Tele-Ophthalmology Society. \n\n\n                                                                \n                                Read More
