Did you know that glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide?

An estimated 300,000 Australians have glaucoma – with half of these people not knowing they have the disease.

Join CERA Managing Director and leading glaucoma specialists Professor Keith Martin, Dr Flora Hui, Professor Rick Liu, Dr Jennifer Fan Gaskin and Dr Luis Alarcon-Martinez for a series of Facebook Live events during World Glaucoma Week to discuss the latest treatment and research into glaucoma.

At CERA, our commitment to beating glaucoma sees our research completed by many specialist teams with extensive national and international collaborations. Through these sessions, we hope to give you a small glimpse into the wide range of critical glaucoma research being completed at CERA – and show how your support enables us to continue expanding and advancing our research.

All sessions will be streamed live on the CERA Facebook page at 12noon AEDT Monday-Friday during Glaucoma Week, with Professor Keith Martin hosting our first session on Monday 7 March.

Meet our Share our vision: Glaucoma Week Facebook Live series presenters below.

*Please note – registrations are not required. All sessions will be streamed live but the videos will remain on the CERA Facebook page for you to view at any time.
