About our research

Vitamin B3 in Glaucoma Study is a multicentre placebo-controlled clinical trial looking at whether taking vitamin B3 (nicotinamide) can help protect nerve cells in glaucoma and slow down vision loss over two years. This is a global collaborative effort that will help us answer the question as to whether nicotinamide should be incorporated into clinical care for people with glaucoma.
