Vision Expo 2023 – Stand 7
About our research
Our research aims to improve early detection and early treatment of eye cancer, thereby reducing vision loss and death in patients.
What you’ll see
Using the latest image technology, you’ll be able to see a large uveal melanoma (eye cancer) before and after treatment with a chemotherapy tablet. This is the first time that a chemotherapy agent has been shown to shrink a uveal melanoma in the eye.
Talk to us about
- The importance of detecting and treating uveal melanomas early to save lives.
- Why we should use liquid biopsies instead of tissue biopsies for the detection of eye cancer.
- New imaging technologies to better diagnose and monitor choroidal tumours.
